the perspective of the game reminds me of pokemon red and blue,
i wanted to catch them all so that i could see their weird back sprites.
also, 7 baskets, i was never very good at basketball.

right now you can click-spam the mouse button really fast while aiming, and if they hit the hoop they will register.
you could put in a cooldown between each shot if you wanted that, but the ability to spam click is really fun.
